Swiss Future Career Day
On November 13, Securecell once again opened its doors to curious young visitors for this year’s National Future Day. The event gave children an engaging, hands-on look into the diverse world of engineering, software development, and science — and a chance to experience innovation up close.
Exploring the World of Technology
Throughout the day, participants rotated through a variety of interactive workshops designed to spark creativity and curiosity:
- Chemistry in Action: Children identified chemicals by scent and pH value and created colorful alginate beads.
- Design & 3D Printing: Using CAD software, they designed personalized plates, which our 3D printer later transformed into real objects.
- From Blueprint to Build: With construction plans in hand, they assembled their own remote-controlled cars and connected the necessary electronic components.
- Smart Programming: The groups then programmed an app that allowed them to steer their cars via smartphone.
- Technology Spotlight: A live demonstration of Securecell’s automated sampling platform, Numera, fascinated the young attendees as fluorescent liquids highlighted its precision and automation.
The children’s excitement throughout the day served as a powerful reminder of why investing in future talent matters.
