Continuing steadily on our sustainable innovation path and growth journey, we are looking for a

SYSTEMS ENGINEER 

for our Biotech business

You develop and maintain requirements as well as the system architecture for our devices, considering the full system life cycle. You contribute to verification and validation processes. You will act as an important interface (leading /coordination /mediation) between the various stakeholders (management, quality, project management, as well as the technical domains of software, mechatronics, fluidics, electronics, bioprocess/analytics, and mechanics) and create the necessary technical documentation and negotiate solutions. You develop and contribute to the modelling of our systems. You will coordinate and manage individual projects or sub-projects and act as a system integrator. You will analyze risks, hazards, improvement ideas, and applicable standards and incorporate them into the design workflow. You will support business development by monitoring relevant activities in R&D and contribute to the development of the program strategy.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have an engineering degree (ETH/FH or equivalent) in a relevant field specializing in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or microtechnology.
• You are at ease with the development of complex system/subsystem requirements, system concepts, and specifications, including performance, safety, maintainability, and reliability.
• You are enthusiastic about grasping and demonstrating complex interrelationships and are a very independent, solution-oriented, and analytical team player with initiative as well as pronounced target group-oriented communication skills.
• You can adapt and introduce new system engineering approaches to the needs of the project pragmatically.
• You have knowledge and experience of standardized systems engineering methodologies and experience in V-model systems development lifecycle.
• You must feel comfortable being under pressure, with high visibility towards senior management, thrive in highly collaborative and agile teamwork, and work with uncertainty and engineering changes
• Knowledge of regulations or standards such as ISO 12100, IEC 61010-1, and IEC 61326 is welcome.
• Experience with PLM, MBSE, or requirements management tools and coding skills are a plus.
• You have more than 4 years of professional experience as a development engineer or systems engineer in multidisciplinary projects, preferably in highly regulated industries. Additional experience as a project manager is a plus.
• You are a team player and comfortable with working closely with many people
• You are fluent in English. German knowledge is a plus
