# Securecell AG

> Securecell AG is a Swiss life science company headquartered in Urdorf, Zürich. Founded in 2010 as a spin-off from ETH Zürich, Securecell engineers bioprocess automation and digitalization solutions for biopharma, biotech, and academia — and is pioneering medical technology for critical patient monitoring. With over 25 years of bioprocessing expertise, more than 95 staff, and 1,000+ installations across big pharma, CDMOs, and research institutions worldwide.

## What Securecell does

Securecell operates in two business areas:

**Biotech**: Software and hardware for automating and digitalizing upstream bioprocessing. Products support bioprocess development, scale-up, and GMP manufacturing. Key customers are biopharma, biotech companies, CDMOs, and academia developing biologics, cell and gene therapies, and fermentation-based products.

**MedTech**: A proprietary platform technology (Seraccess®) for fully automated, high-frequency, online blood parameter monitoring. Active development programs target hospital critical care and an artificial pancreas device system for people with diabetes.
